I dyed the \u201eGolden Rain\u201d half-circle skirt using the ecoprint technique \u2013 each leaf left its own unique mark.<\/p>\n
This skirt is from the \u201eWild Linen\u201d collection, made from a very comfortable and soft linen fabric (100%). It\u2019s a linen that will feel lovely against your skin all year round. I\u2019ve chosen the thickness so that it can be worn in spring and summer as well as in autumn and winter.<\/p>\n
I created this skirt using a natural plant-dyeing process known as ecoprint \u2013 a contact printing technique. To make it, I used marigold petals, which transferred their shapes and essence onto the fabric. The background was dyed with an onion skin decoction.<\/p>\n
Made from a half circle, with pockets, and finished with soft elastic at the waist - giving you complete freedom of movement and everyday comfort.<\/p>\n
