\u201eWild Hemp\u201d This is a unique collection of skirts made from natural hemp-cotton fabric by Kombinat Konopny. Each skirt is cut from a semi-circle, allowing it to drape beautifully as you move, enveloping the figure with a sense of freedom and lightness. This fine blend of hemp and cotton impresses with its durability, breathability and natural character, creating a fabric that allows the skin to breathe and gives a sense of being close to nature.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201eSky of Dawn\u201d is not just a skirt. It is a garment that lives \u2013 bearing the imprint of plants, light and earth. When you put it on, you enter into a tender dialogue with nature. You wrap yourself in something that remembers the touch of leaves and the warmth of the summer sun. It grounds you \u2013 in yourself, in the rhythm of the day, in what is real.<\/p>\n

I dyed the \u201eNiebo \u015awitu\u201d half-circle skirt using the ecoprint technique \u2013 each leaf left its own unique mark.<\/p>\n

This skirt is from the \u201eWild Hemp\u201d collection, made from a Polish-produced cotton-hemp blend fabric weighing 210g. It\u2019s a heavier fabric than the ones I usually use, but thanks to its hemp fibre content, it\u2019s very breathable. Its weight gives the skirt a lovely heft; it drapes beautifully and flows gracefully to the ground. You can wear it at any time of year.<\/p>\n

I created this skirt using a natural plant-dyeing process known as ecoprint \u2013 a contact printing technique. To make it, I used petals from the Marzanna rhizome, onion skins and birch pollen, which imparted their shapes and essence to the fabric.<\/p>\n

Made from a half-circle cut, with a slit and pockets, and finished at the waist with soft, stretchy elastic \u2013 it offers complete freedom of movement and everyday comfort.<\/p>\n
