If the colour changes due to sweat or acids, wash the garment as soon as possible using a mild detergent with a slightly alkaline pH.<\/span><\/p>\n Natural dyes are vibrant and may change subtly over time. The batiste is 100% cotton, which is ideal for summer, it is thin, airy and gives a feeling of gentle coolness and on top of that it makes the full circle skirt weigh almost nothing.<\/p>\n This skirt was created using a natural plant-dyeing process known as ecoprint \u2013 a contact printing technique. To make it, I used chestnut, birch and fern leaves, which transferred their shapes and essence onto the fabric. The background is dyed with a decoction of woad.<\/p>\n Made from a full circle, with pockets, and finished with soft elastic at the waist - giving you complete freedom of movement and everyday comfort.<\/p>\n Dimensions: The skirt can be shortened to any length.<\/p>\n Each skirt is made in one piece only and is unique.
