Who I am

My name is Susan - I am a dyer, Wild Woman, Mum and Slavic Gymnastics instructor. I run the Zielekada space - a place where art meets wildlife.

I am half Polish, half Egyptian. I carry within me the heritage of two cultures - Slavic and Middle Eastern - and it is these that constantly intermingle in my work. I believe that my roots are my strength. It is thanks to them that I am able to combine what is wild, primal and earthy with what is full of fire, light and ritual.

My dear

Before I got to where I am today, I went through a long journey. From rebellious tomboy, through the transformative journey of motherhood, to consciously connecting with my creative feminine nature.

Initially, I created synthetic dyes, full of the intense colours of sunrises and sunsets. However, over time, I began to listen to what was more subtle. It was the plants that called to me. I abandoned artificial dyes and have been dyeing exclusively naturally ever since - with attention, in the rhythm of nature and with respect for the Earth.

In each project, I strive to capture the essence of nature and discover the real thing. My goal is to create unique things that serve, are alive and feed our bodies.

Mission

I believe that femininity is a strength that doesn't need to be proven. I want to support women in returning to their natural power - through clothing that does not restrict, but liberates. Through colours that not only adorn the body, but also nourish the soul.

I create with the intention that every woman, when wearing my skirt, can feel closer to herself, closer to the earth and closer to her own truth.

Zielekada

Zielekada is not just a brand

is a living, pulsating space where I create long skirts dyed with plants. Each one is different, unique, immersed in the essence of leaves, flowers and herbs.

Nature in full

Every dyeing is a ritualistic process. An encounter with the plant, the fabric and the energy that wants to express itself through them. I do not design ready-made patterns. I let Nature guide me through every step - from harvesting, to dyeing, to sewing. In this way, each skirt becomes a unique talisman, a story enchanted in the colours, scents and structure of the fabric.

Why plants?

Because they are real. Because they teach patience, cyclicity and attentiveness. Because each speaks a different language and each leaves its own unique mark on the fabric. Dyeing with plants is an encounter in which nature leads me through silence, colour and truth - all the way to myself.

It is a gentle but profound practice of presence and an art form in which nature has the last word.

In harmony with nature, in harmony with each other

I create out of a need in my heart, a love for nature and a deep belief in feminine power. Zielekada is my path intertwined with the earth, with my body and with my soul.

If you feel that what I am doing is moving something in the To you - I invite you on this journey. May every fabric you touch remind you of who you are. Of your strength, vulnerability and connection to the wild and the real.

Because you are a story too. And you deserve to be told.
